• Pitched for Dartmouth, NS in Nova Scotia League -- 1953 and Farmington, ME, in DownEast League -- DownEast Championship.
• Pitched 5 no-hitters at UNH -- pitched double header 2-0 and 4-0 at R.I. (no-hitter in 2nd game) ERA in 1953 at UNH - .92; for 4 years at UNH, ERA was 1.5 -- 1953 averaged 12.8 strikeouts a game.
• Led UNH Freshman Team in scoring in basketball -- 1948-1949.
• Played UNH Varsity Basketball -- 3 yrs.
• Won 20 games 3 yrs. in a row (1948-1950) as pitcher for Woodsville A.C.  Pitched 11-inning no-hitter 1-0 in Quebec in 1950. (Spring training with New York Giants 1950)
• Signed Bonus contract with Red Sox in 1953 -- Assigned to AAA affiliate (San Francisco).
• Played (pitched) for Lafayette Red Sox (Indiana) -- Midwest League in 1956 and Corning, NY (Red Sox) in the NYP League.
